Professor Dr. Noé
Studied in Cologne and completed his training in gynecology and obstetrics. He wrote his doctorate on the examination methods when the due date has been exceeded. At the age of 41, he became Head of Department at the Rheinlandklinikum Dormagen. He established a pelvic floor center as well as a center for the treatment of endometriosis. Together with his team, he deepened research in the field of surgical treatment of pelvic floor defects in Dormagen. In 2008, he was one of the first German gynaecological surgeons to receive the highest degree in minimally invasive surgery (MIC III). He founded a training center for minimally invasive surgery and has been conducting numerous face-to-face or online courses in endoscopic pelvic floor surgery for years.
He has become known nationally and internationally through his intensive development work and elaboration of numerous new or modified surgical techniques as well as his description of defect-oriented pelvic floor surgery. He has published about 80 peer-reviewed articles or contributions as lead author in the field of pelvic floor treatment and numerous others in the field of gynaecology. Since 2023, he has been a full professor at Witten Herdecke University, where he has been teaching since 2011.
He is involved in numerous groups for the training of young or advanced surgeons as well as for research, especially in the field of uro-gynecology. He has been appointed nationally and internationally to numerous commissions, advisory boards and working groups in which he is intensively involved. For the ISGE, he was first elected to the Advisory Board and then served as Vice President from 2019-2021, as President from 2021-2023 and since then as Past President on the Exco Board of the ISGE. During his presidency, he developed the online journal platform "TheTrocar" together with Professor van Heerendael into an open access journal for ISGE.
In his private life, he devotes himself to his family and enjoys making music. Since his youth he has played in POP, soul or RnB bands as a guitarist and singer. In addition to his surgical work, he also likes to do handicrafts at home. Be it woodwork, renovation, or bicycle repair, he lives the family motto "First of all, see what you can do yourself"
